Job Title: ServiceNow Technical Architect
Job Description:
The ServiceNow Technical Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
his role bridges business needs with technical execution, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Architectural Design & Strategy
ā¢ Define and design high-level architecture for ServiceNow solutions across modules like HR, ITOM, PPM, CSM, FSM, SIR and SPM.
ā¢ Develop architectural blueprints, standards, and best practices.
ā¢ Align ServiceNow architecture with enterprise IT strategy and digital transformation goals.
2. Technical Leadership
ā¢ Provide guidance and mentorship to developers and implementation teams.
ā¢ Ensure adherence to architectural standards and coding best practices.
ā¢ Lead technical design sessions and code reviews.
3. Solution Implementation
ā¢ Oversee the development and deployment of ServiceNow applications and custom modules.
ā¢ Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure.
ā¢ Lead complex integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, SAML, and middleware platforms.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
ā¢ Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
ā¢ Present architectural decisions and roadmaps to executives, including CIOs and CTOs.
ā¢ Conduct workshops, demos, and technical presentations.
5. Governance & Compliance
ā¢ Establish governance frameworks for ServiceNow development and deployment.
ā¢ Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
ā¢ Maintain detailed documentation including design specs, workflows, and technical guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
ā¢ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
ā¢ 7+ years of experience in IT, with 3+ years in a ServiceNow architect role.
ā¢ Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and modules.
ā¢ Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
ā¢ ServiceNow certifications such as:
ā¢ Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ā¢ Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
ā¢ Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ā¢ Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (preferred)
ā¢ Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
