US Tax Preparer with EFIN Needed to Review & Transmit Prepared 1040 Returns
I am a US based tax preparer with an active PTIN currently waiting for my IRS EFIN approval to finalize. In the meantime I am looking for an experienced tax preparer or small firm with an active EFIN who can review and transmit a few individual tax returns.
The returns will already be prepared by me. I mainly need someone who can perform a brief review and transmit using their EFIN.
Typical returns include:
ā¢ Form 1040
ā¢ Married Filing Jointly
ā¢ Schedule C small business income
Important notes:
ā¢ I remain the preparer of record using my PTIN
ā¢ You would act as the transmitting firm using your EFIN
ā¢ Client relationship remains with my firm
This will likely start with a small number of returns but could expand if the collaboration works well.
When applying, please include:
ā¢ Confirmation that you have an active EFIN
ā¢ Tax software you use (Drake, ProConnect, Lacerte, etc.)
ā¢ Your typical fee for review and transmission
