US Group Finance Manager

After significantly expanding our US operations n2 Group is looking for a Finance Manager who will provide critical financial business support, helping to shape and improve financial processes for one of our subsidiary companies as well as helping to improve processes across other subsidiary companies. The position is a remote one, we’d prefer applications from those based in Texas, Illinois or... Louisiana to align with our operating times.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is driven to achieve results, with the ambition to progress towards a Group Financial Controller role as part of our planned expansion. Some travel is expected as part of this role both across the US and occasionally UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Financial Control: Oversee all aspects of the subsidiary’s financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and US GAAP compliance.

Financial Business Support: Act as a strategic partner to the subsidiary's management team, providing financial insights that drive business performance.

Process Oversight & Improvement: Gain a broad understanding of financial processes across group subsidiaries. Identify inefficiencies and guide initiatives to streamline processes and improve financial controls.

Tax: Responsibility for US Tax filings and tax payments for the Group: Liaise with External tax advisors and other subsidiary Finance Officers to ensure timely submissions and payments of all Federal and State Taxes.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Chief Finance Officer (UK) and other finance leaders to ensure alignment with corporate goals and strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:
• CPA certification is required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial control, process improvement, financial management and familiarity with US corporate tax submission and payment timelines.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
• Drive to advance in your career as the company grows.
• Self-starter, able to use own initiative inside Group constraints.
