Sacred Heart University invites applicants for a full-time Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Graphic Design to begin in August 2024. Responsibilities include teaching of undergraduate level Art & Design , contributions toward curricular development, a continued scholarly and creative output in the field, committee work, and advising of undergraduates.

It has new, state of the art facilities at West Campus, and is adjacent to the cutting-edge AR/VR lab and upstairs from the Idea Lab, a maker's space that facilitates collaboration and innovation. Requirements:
The successful applicant will have thorough knowledge and expertise in Web Design, Motion Graphics, Animation, UX/UI Design, and current design trends.
In addition, the candidate should have:
2 years of successful teaching at the college level
an MFA in Graphic Design or a related discipline
a strong portfolio of personal design work and examples of student work
multidisciplinary approaches to pedagogy and scholarly output
