Job description: Anticipated Sign Language Interpreter/Communication Facilitator, 7 hrs/day, at KCSD, school term. Start - end times will depend on student need. Starting rate of pay for a teacher associate is $17/hr. Excellent benefits and PSERS retirement. Requirements include being a qualified sign language interpreter or qualified transliterator under the Sign Language Interpreter and Transliterator Registration Act (63 P.S. § § 1725.1-1725.12) and its implementing regulations, and provide evidence of a minimum of 20 hours of staff development activities relating to interpreting or transliterating services annually.
