We're looking for a cashiering clerk to join our ranks! Are you eager to put your knowledge of Treasury and banking procedures to work? Do you thrive in a team-centric, fast-paced environment? As a cashiering clerk, you'll be trained to support a broad array of transactional functions, including check, wire, account transfer, and EFT transactions. Your stellar customer service skills will be instrumental as you communicate daily with financial advisors and their staff, as well as internal Commonwealth departments.
The Cashiering team is made up of a select group of money movement specialists working in a vital operational department. This small, close-knit group is responsible for thousands of transactions every day, so an exceptional eye for detail is a must, as is calm, diligent performance. In this role, you'll be given many opportunities to succeed and grow within the company and industry, including acquiring industry registrations. In short, you'll rapidly gain invaluable operations experience.
Key Accountabilities
Assisting in establishing instructions for standing payments and money movements
Reviewing deposit transactions for policy adherences
Resolving occasional problems and assisting our Service Center, advisors, and product companies as necessary
Participating in a variety of departmental projects, both operational and in support of our company culture
Taking on additional responsibilities as requested
Providing indispensable customer service
Core Strengths & Skills
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to work independently in a virtual environment with a high level of efficiency
Knowledge of Treasury or finance and banking procedures
Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to embracing Commonwealth's indispensable service philosophy
