As the Senior Design Manager for DashPass and Affordability at DoorDash, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design strategy for our consumer products. This position is integral to the Consumer team, which focuses on enhancing the mobile app experience for millions of users who rely on DoorDash to order from their favorite local merchants. You will oversee two key initiatives: DashPass, which aims to create the most rewarding membership program for local commerce, and the Affordability team, which is dedicated to making DoorDash services more accessible and cost-effective for all customers. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a talented group of designers, guiding them through the design process, and ensuring that their work aligns with the overall product vision. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and User Research, to define a clear design roadmap that enhances user experience and drives customer satisfaction. Your leadership will be crucial in mentoring your team, providing constructive feedback, and fostering an environment where creativity and innovation can thrive. Additionally, you will be involved in the hiring process, working alongside the recruiting team to attract and onboard new design talent. As DoorDash continues to grow, your ability to build and nurture a high-performing design team will be essential. This hybrid role allows for flexibility, with opportunities to work both in-office and remotely, and is based in one of our tech hubs located in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York. You will have the opportunity to directly influence DoorDash's consumer product strategy, tackle complex and ambiguous challenges, and contribute to the development of solutions that improve the lives of millions of customers. Responsibilities
• Manage a group of designers and define the design strategy for DashPass and Affordability.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and User Research to define a clear product vision and roadmap.

• Mentor and coach designers on the team, providing project feedback and career guidance.

• Partner with the recruiting team to attract, interview, and hire new designers for the team.

Requirements
• 4+ years of experience managing successful product design teams.

• Strong advocacy for product quality and user-centric product development.

• Comfortable working within complex product ecosystems.

• Enthusiastic about collaboration and team-building.
