Job Summary As a Part Time Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless customer experiences, processing payments, and maintaining accuracy in financial transactions. Key Responsibilities Monitor cash float and perform audits to ensure accuracy. Masterfully manage the payment needs of customers while processing and recording payments through point-of-sale technology, cash recording, gift certificate and card tracking, and credit and debit card processing. Confirm that guests are satisfied with their experience and make every effort to address any issues they may have, seeking assistance from a supervisor if needed. Express gratitude for the guests' presence and hope that they consider dining with us again in the future. We strive to promptly and effectively address our guests' inquiries and fulfill their requests, while also ensuring we maintain a welcoming and hospitable demeanor. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in customer service, cash handling, or a related field is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy. Basic computer skills and proficiency in point-of-sale technology. Preferred Qualifications Hospitality industry experience. Basic knowledge of accounting and cash handling procedures. Experience with gift certificates, credit card processing, and other payment methods. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
