[Remote] Senior Project Manager, Battery Energy Storage Systems

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the full BESS project execution cycle, ensuring project plans are developed, risks are managed, resources are allocated efficiently, and tasks are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities • Take ownership of projects and manage client expectations throughout the full BESS project execution cycle. • Ensure project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards are in accordance with company policy and contract specifications. • Build and maintain strong customer and supplier/partner/subcontractor relationships. • Plan and prepare schedules and milestones, and monitor progress against established timelines. • Allocate resources to projects efficiently and collaborate with local and international specialist departments in HiTHIUM as necessary. • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure project excellence. • Prepare comprehensive progress reports and communicate project status to stakeholders. • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. • Manage project risk through proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies. • Coordinate team members effectively while ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget. Skills • Familiarity with the energy storage or renewable energy industry is a prerequisite, with experience in energy storage projects in the Americas preferred. • More than 8+ years of experience in project management and customer management with strong key account management capabilities. • Bachelor's degree or above (bachelor's or master's degree in the United States or Canada is preferred). • Proficiency in MS Project required. • Strong management and interpersonal skills with effective communication abilities and problem-solving capabilities. • Fluent in English with exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively in collaborative environments. • Great team player able to strive in a collaborative environment with creative thinking and innovation skills. • Ability to travel to projects when needed. • Experience in energy storage projects in the Americas. • PMP Certification preferred. • Proficiency in Procore preferred, but not required.
