We are looking for an eager individual… To join our team as an Energy Technician! This is an entry level position where you will work alongside team members and learn how to install energy efficiency measures to reduce home energy bills for residential customers. No prior experience needed. We provide on-the-job training where you will learn how to: Install energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heaters Perform minor repairs to include windows and doors Assist with loading and unloading work trucks Assist with keeping the job site organized and safe Assist with job site set up and tear down Physical Demands/Requirements Able to work in different weather conditions including extreme hot and cold weather Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time Crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach often working in crawl spaces and under mobile homes for part of the workday Use repetitive hand motion & use of basic hand and power tools Use of a ladder at various heights (up to 3 stories) Lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds as needed Target Compensation: $19-$24 /hour based on experience. Compensation Range Currency Type Hourly Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
