In this role, you will use technical expertise and visionary capabilities to ensure file systems remain a key differentiator for Google. You will manage and grow a team of engineering managers, partner and drive the vision and strategy for file systems, and ensure all Google bytes stay safe. Responsibilities Manage leadership and service ownership of Google's internal distributed file systems, each of which is unique in the industry and a key differentiator for Google. Build an environment of deep respect, in which each team member feels included. Drive cross-functional alignment with other layers of the stack. Develop a strategy for the long-term vision of which files should go into which services and which APIs should be exposed to the company. Drive solid delivery in a difficult and high-risk space.
