Job Description:
As a UPS Express Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company, meeting the delivery needs of our customers with professionalism and punctuality. This role is critical to maintaining the high level of service that UPS is known for around the world.
Responsibilities:
1. Timely pick-up and delivery of packages to businesses and homes in assigned area.
2. Operate UPS vehicles adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
3. Assist in the loading and unloading of packages.
4. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors.
5. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure all paperwork is completed.
6. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
Requirements:
1. Must have a valid drivers license.
2. Must be at least 21 years of age.
3. Must be able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 pounds.
4. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
5. Must be able to operate a vehicle equipped with a standard (manual) transmission.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous driving experience and a clean driving record are preferred but not required as we provide paid professional training.
