About the Role
We are building an application in Unreal Engine 5 and are looking for a UE5 UI Developer to bring our existing UI/UX designs to life.
You will be responsible for translating finalized designs into fully functional, polished UI screens using UMG and Blueprint. This role is focused on implementation — not design. All UI/UX designs are already created.
This is a contract role during development with strong potential to convert to full-time based on performance and project needs.
What You’ll Do
• Implement UI screens in Unreal Engine 5 using UMG
• Convert provided UI/UX designs into responsive, production-ready widgets
• Create animations, transitions, and interactive elements
• Connect UI to application logic using Blueprint
• Maintain clean, organized Blueprint architecture
• Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate implementation of designs
• Optimize UI performance and structure for scalability
Required Skills
Experience with Unreal Engine 5
• Strong proficiency in UMG and Blueprint
• Experience implementing UI from Figma or similar design tools
• Understanding of UI state management and clean Blueprint organization
• Knowledge of responsive layout and resolution scaling
• Experience working in a team environment
• Version control familiarity (Git preferred)
Nice to Have
• Basic C++ knowledge in Unreal
• Experience integrating UI with backend APIs
• Experience building non-game application interfaces in UE5
• At least one shipped Unreal project (game or app)
