Position: Junior Business Data Analyst
Role Overview
We're seeking a highly motivated Junior Business Data Analyst to join our innovative Data team. As a key player, you'll have the opportunity to drive business growth by applying data-driven insights and analytics to tackle complex problems. Collaborate with our dynamic team of analytical professionals to design and implement cutting-edge customer engagement solutions that deliver exceptional value to our clients.
Responsibilities
Develop innovative approaches to provide customers with actionable data insights
Design and build technical solutions to meet customer reporting requirements
Balance customer expectations with project delivery and specifications
Collaborate with Customer Success to identify areas for improvement and optimize reports and dashboards
Analyze data to uncover insights and recommendations for customers
Design and develop data pipelines and Power BI dashboarding solutions
Mentor developers on technical solutions and escalated matters
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Power Platform and Power BI space
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including product owners, product managers, UX designers, and IT
Prepare high-quality technical documentation
What You Bring to the Table
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field
2-3 years of experience in data analysis, data warehouse modeling, and business intelligence dashboard development
Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Microsoft SSMS and SSDT, and Databricks
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to develop high-quality documentation and provide user guidance and assistance
Strong track record of building relationships with stakeholders and peers
Knowledge of Maximo/P6 and experience in the nuclear industry (an asset)
Eligibility to work in Canada
