Personal Banker 1 Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker 1 to join our team. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for providing exceptional banking services to our customers while promoting sales and service strategies.
Ā Successfully complete on-going training programs, including Personal Banker 1 and Teller 1 training.
Ā Perform various teller transactions, open deposit accounts, input consumer loan applications, and navigate the loan process.
Ā Support sales and service strategies that build relationships and promote needs-based selling.
Ā Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and banking regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Maintain confidentiality of customer information and activities.
Ā Promote and achieve accuracy and quality in branch work.
Ā Recognize and act on opportunities to achieve assigned sales and service goals.
Ā Become proficient with job-related systems and equipment.
Ā Participate in the general upkeep and appearance of the Branch.
Ā Participate in available training opportunities.
Requirements:
Ā High school graduate or equivalent.
Ā Minimum one year retail banking experience in sales and customer service.
Ā Excellent customer service skills.
Ā Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Ā Basic math aptitude and proficiency.
Ā Knowledge of bank accounting principles.
Ā Ability to learn and utilize new technologies.
Ā Knowledge of general banking products and services.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ā One year work experience at First National Bank and Trust preferred.
