Key Responsibilities
ā¢ * Participate in a structured training program that covers airline safety procedures, customer service expectations, emergency response protocols, and flight operations.
ā¢ * Learn to deliver safety demonstrations and assist passengers with safety instructions.
ā¢ * Maintain high standards of service while attending to passenger needs, including providing food, beverages, and ensuring their comfort during flights.
ā¢ * Handle in-flight emergencies, including medical situations, fires, and evacuations, according to established protocols.
ā¢ * Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cabin before, during, and after each flight.
ā¢ * Collaborate with other flight crew members and airline personnel to ensure smooth flight operations.
ā¢ * Assist passengers with special needs, including the elderly, children, and individuals with disabilities.
ā¢ * Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while adhering to United Airlines grooming standards.
ā¢ Required Skills and Qualifications
ā¢ * High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
ā¢ * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
ā¢ * Ability to remain calm and effective during emergencies or stressful situations.
ā¢ * Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as flight schedules may require.
ā¢ * Must be at least 21 years old by the start of training.
ā¢ * Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
ā¢ * Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
ā¢ * Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items, assist passengers in an emergency, and endure long hours of standing, walking, or sitting.
ā¢ * Willingness to relocate if necessary, as some assignments may require travel to different airports or locations.

ā¢ * No prior experience as a flight attendant is required, as this position includes comprehensive training.
ā¢ * Previous customer service, hospitality, or airline industry experience is an advantage.

This role requires flexibility, as flight attendants work on a variable schedule. Shifts may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Due to flight schedules, you may be required to work irregular hours or on short notice.
