UI/UX Designer (AI-Specialist) — Full-Time | US Time Zone - Contract to Hire
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled UI/UX Designer with strong AI-driven workflows to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for a designer who combines exceptional visual taste with modern AI tools to deliver fast, high-quality, and scalable design solutions.
You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, participate in daily standups, and take ownership of design execution across products.
Work Requirements
Full-time availability
Must work primarily in the US time zone
Comfortable joining daily standups and regular syncs
Strong written and spoken English communication
Able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
1. Visual & Interaction Design Mastery
Build, maintain, and scale complex design systems in Figma
Apply strong knowledge of typography, color theory, accessibility, and visual hierarchy
Produce high-fidelity UI using Figma Auto Layout, components, variables, and advanced prototyping
Design polished visual assets for marketing, landing pages, and social media campaigns
2. AI & Next-Gen Design Workflow
Integrate AI tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, Nano Banana, Veo, Relume, etc.) into daily design workflows
Demonstrate strong prompt engineering skills to generate UI concepts, imagery, and design directions
Use AI to speed up ideation, automate repetitive tasks, and improve efficiency
Continuously explore new AI tools to enhance creativity and delivery speed
3. Communication & Collaboration
Clearly explain the reasoning behind design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure feasibility and smooth handoff
Participate actively in feedback sessions with a constructive, solution-oriented mindset
Handle critiques professionally and iterate quickly
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer
Advanced Figma expertise
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
Experience working on real, production-level products
Comfortable owning features from concept to final delivery
Passion for AI-powered design and continuous improvement
Nice to Have
Experience with SaaS or complex product interfaces
Familiarity with front-end workflows
Motion design or micro-interaction experience
