UAT Systems Analyst, Human Resources (contract)

KPMG is working through its partnership with MBO Partners and is currently seeking a remote contractor in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst with a strong background in leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, creating test scripts, and working with Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), with a preference for PeopleSoft experience. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery and implementation of HR technology projects, focusing on quality assurance and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities
• Lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process for HR technology projects, ensuring thorough and effective testing.
• Develop detailed test plans and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to clarify requirements and validate test outcomes.
• Facilitate UAT sessions, gather feedback, and communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between HR, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of HRMS modules and functionalities.
• Utilize PeopleSoft HRMS (or other HR systems) for configuring, testing, and troubleshooting issues.
• Document test results, defects, and enhancement requests, and follow up on remediation actions.
• Provide training and support to end-users for new system features and functionalities.
• Participate in project meetings and provide insights and recommendations based on UAT findings.
• Stay current with the latest HR technology trends and best practices, and leverage this knowledge to improve system processes and user experiences.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in systems analysis, with a focus on HRMS applications; PeopleSoft experience preferred.
• Proven experience leading UAT processes and creating comprehensive test scripts.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and systems, including payroll, benefits, and employee data management.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with SQL and database management is a plus.
