Key Responsibilities
As the Tutor Center Operations Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties that keep our centers running smoothly and ensure that our students receive the highest quality instruction possible. Your primary focus will be on creating an environment where both students and staff can thrive. Here is a detailed breakdown of what you can expect in this role:

Operational Management

Oversee all aspects of day-to-day center operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency across all programs
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional learning environment that meets our high standards
Coordinate schedules, resources, and staff assignments to optimize center performance
Assist Center Directors with various administrative tasks and special projects as needed
Monitor inventory and supplies, ensuring that teaching materials and resources are always available


Team Leadership and Development

Recruit, screen, hire, and onboard new instructors who share our passion for education
Design and implement comprehensive training programs for new and existing staff
Coach and mentor instructors to help them reach their full potential and provide top-notch instruction
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive team culture that encourages professional growth
Lead by example and motivate the team through your own dedication and enthusiasm


Instructional Excellence

Ensure that all students receive high-quality, personalized instruction using our proven teaching methodology
Administer student assessments to identify learning gaps and areas for improvement
Develop and oversee customized learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs
Monitor student progress and work with instructors to adjust teaching strategies as needed
Maintain our high standards of teaching excellence across all sessions and programs


Customer Relations and Sales

Build strong, lasting relationships with parents and families through excellent communication
Conduct enrollment meetings and provide detailed program information to prospective families
Respond promptly to leads and inquiries, converting interest into enrollment
Communicate student progress regularly to parents through various channels
Handle customer concerns with professionalism and empathy, ensuring high satisfaction rates
Represent arenaflex positively in the community and build relationships with local schools and organizations


Performance Monitoring and Growth

Track and analyze center performance metrics, including student retention and success rates
Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to achieve goals
Work toward growing center enrollment and profitability
Become proficient in our digital educational platforms and processes
Contribute to marketing efforts by participating in community events and outreach programs


Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications

A deep and authentic passion for mathematics and working with students of all ages
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with children, parents, and team members
Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple responsibilities effectively
Excellent math competency, with proficiency through at least Algebra I (demonstrated through our math literacy test)
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email communication
A completed Bachelor's Degree, preferably in education, mathematics, or a related field
Ability to work flexible hours, including Monday-Thursday from 2:30-7:30 PM, Sunday from 1:30-5:30 PM, and occasional special events
Willingness to work at both our Chattanooga and Hixson locations based on operational needs
Must provide work authorization and pass a background check


Preferred Qualifications

Previous management or leadership experience in an educational or customer service setting
Demonstrated success in customer relations and sales
Experience working with students in grades 2-12
Knowledge of educational assessment and individualized instruction strategies
Familiarity with learning management systems and digital teaching tools
Experience in recruiting, training, and developing staff members
