Trip Support SpecialistLocation: Remote â TexasWorld Fuel is seeking a highly organized and serviceâfocused Trip Support Specialist to support dayâtoâday international trip operations. In this role, you will partner with new and existing customers to coordinate all aspects of trip support, deliver exceptional service, and represent World Fuelâs full suite of Trip Support products. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fastâpaced, 24/7 aviation operations environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational SupportCoordinate daily trip operations including:Ground handling, permits, slots, flight following, hotel and transportation arrangementsCustoms support: CANPASS submissions, Border Overflight Exemptions, and other customs servicesBuild and maintain trip details in the Falcon systemPrepare and enter Trip Cost EstimatesAssist with fuel quotes and arrangements after business hoursEnsure quality assurance for all assigned tripsParticipate in the operations communications rotation, responding to:Phone callsEmailsFaxesSITA/AFTN messagesMaintain strong knowledge of all Trip Support products and effectively communicate them to customersCustomer Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact and Account Executive for assigned Trip Support accountsBuild, strengthen, and maintain customer relationshipsDeliver timely, accurate communication and highâquality serviceProvide expert-level trip operations support and consultationAdditional ResponsibilitiesProvide backup support for Flight Planners and/or Meteorologists (if qualified)Support additional operational services as neededMonitor communication after hours and weekends during storefront operationsCollaborate with colleagues to support shared goalsPerform other duties as assigned by the Sr. Director, Global OperationsWork hours based on operational needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays (24/7 environment)Required Knowledge & SkillsConfidence, diplomacy, and professionalism in customer interactionsStrong problemâsolving skills and ability to resolve sensitive issuesAbility to perform calmly and effectively under pressureStrong crossâdepartment collaboration and communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionWillingness to work across rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidaysEducation & ExperienceBachelorâs degree highly preferred (or equivalent aviation experience)5â10 years of experience in the aviation industry preferredProven customer service and account management successHigh attention to detail and operational accuracyStrong understanding of aviation operational processes, systems, and trip support service#WFS#LI-JH1World Kinect is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
