Base pay range $/yr - $2,/yr Direct message the job poster from Platinum Legal Search Group, LLC A leading AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking a highly skilled Tax Partner to join its nationally recognized Tax practice. This role is ideal for an experienced tax attorney with deep expertise in structuring tax-driven real estate transactions, including statutory trusts and §1031 like-kind exchanges. Key Responsibilities • Advise developers, sponsors, investors, and institutions on federal income tax aspects of complex real estate transactions. • Structure and execute tax-efficient deals, including §1031 exchanges, Delaware statutory trusts (DSTs), and other pass-through entity structures. • Provide guidance on partnership tax issues, including allocations, basis adjustments, and exit planning strategies. • Collaborate with Real Estate, Corporate, and Finance teams to deliver fully integrated advice. • Lead client negotiations and manage sophisticated matters from inception to closing. • Mentor and develop junior tax associates. Qualifications • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar. • 8+ years of experience focused on federal income tax and real estate transaction planning. • Significant experience with §1031 exchanges, DSTs, TICs, and other tax-driven structures. • Portable book of business preferred, but not required. • Strong communication, drafting, and client development skills.
