About NunaHub: NunaHub is a mission-driven technology platform building digital infrastructure for Native American and Alaska Native communities. Our tools (Community Calendar, Resource Navigator, and Communication Hub) help Tribes centralize information, improve social service access, and strengthen community connection. The Opportunity: We have strong product-market fit: Tribal Social Service Directors and Program Managers want to use NunaHub. However, they often face bureaucratic friction when trying to pay for "software subscriptions" using their programmatic grant funds (e.g., SAMHSA, IHS, or BIA grants). We are seeking a Tribal Grant Strategy Consultant to help us solve this "Product-Funding Fit." We don't need a grant writer to apply for new money; we need a compliance expert to help our clients utilize their existing grant buckets effectively. What You Will Do: • Create a "Funding Map": Identify specific federal, state, and foundation grant programs (e.g., SAMHSA TOR, Native Connections, Digital Equity, ANA) where a "Community Engagement/Outreach Platform" is an allowable cost. • Draft Compliance Language: Create "plug-and-play" budget justification templates that Tribal Directors can insert into their reports or proposals to approve the purchase of NunaHub. • Optimize Invoicing: Advise on how we should structure our invoices and line items (e.g., labeling services as "Digital Outreach" vs. "Software") to ensure smooth compliance and payment. Who You Are: • Experience: You have practical experience managing, writing, or auditing grants for Tribal Governments, Urban Indian Health Centers, or Tribal Behavioral Health programs. • Knowledge: You deeply understand the restrictions and flexibilities of major funding sources like SAMHSA, IHS, HUD (ICDBG), NAHASDA, or Digital Equity/BEAD. • Strategic: You know the difference between "General Fund," "Indirect Costs," and "Programmatic Funds," and you know how to navigate them.
