Job description: Ideal candidate will be based in Ohio with the ability to come into the Dublin, OH office monthly and quarterly!What Treasury contributes to Cardinal HealthFinance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.Treasury develops, recommends, and executes financial policy with a focus on corporate finance, capital markets, financial risk, and global treasury operations. This job family sets an appropriate capital structure, ensuring that at all times the company has the liquidity to meet its obligations and fund strategic initiatives. Treasury also identifies and manages risks that could erode financial strength.Responsibilities
Support FX risk management programs through exposure identification, hedging strategy development, trade execution, and position reporting
Support the company’s interest rate hedging programs through development and implementation of various hedging strategies
Monitor market research related to macro-economic, central bank policy, and other market driving trends to keep senior management informed
Assess global financial market conditions and assist in the development and execution of corporate funding plans and associated risk management strategies
Prepare reporting and calculations for liquidity, debt, cost of capital, derivatives portfolio, FX, counterparty exposures, settlements, etc.
Provide support for debt and derivatives financial disclosures
Participate in the company’s defined benefit and defined contribution retirement planning including participation in governance committees and plan oversight with asset managers, investment consultants, actuaries, custodians, other advisors
Develop and implement treasury operations best practices and help identify areas of improvement/provide recommendations to management
Support capital structure planning and analysis through financial modeling and scenario analysis
Assist in the development and execution of strategies pursuant to the Company’s share repurchase program
Assist in the management of relationships with global banking and financial product suppliers
Support other Treasury and cross-functional projects as needed
Maintain and develop the risk module of the TMS
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Minimum 2-3 years of corporate finance, banking, or public accounting experience preferred
Related professional designation (CFA, CTP, etc.) or MBA preferred
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, Macros, Data consolidation etc.) and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple competing priorities
High motivation, attention to detail, and demonstrated interest in global finance
Advanced data analytics capabilities and/or experience with automation through financial technology helpful
Previous experience with a Treasury Management System (e.g. Kyriba, SAP, etc.) preferred
Experience with SAP (or its analogues) and Hyperion Financial Management preferred
Previous experience with FXall preferred
Previous experience with Bloomberg preferred
Data visualization and data analysis tools (e.g. Tableau/Alteryx, RStudio/Python) preferred
