Our client is looking for a Treasury Accountant who’s equal parts detail-oriented number cruncher and proactive relationship manager. You’ll take the reins and help drive the financial engine behind an organization that supports transformational work across Nebraska.
What You’ll Own:
• Oversee daily cash activity and ensure funds are exactly where they need to be
• Manage operational banking relationships, including initiating wire transfers
• Reconcile credit cards and monitor deposits
• Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to keep processes clean and on-track
• Forecast cash needs and analyze liquidity to support long-term financial planning
• Serve as a key player in a small, professional finance team
What They’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of experience in treasury management or cash handling
• Independent thinker who takes initiative and doesn’t need hand-holding
• Strong Excel skills — you’re comfortable with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• Bonus points if you’ve worked in Blackbaud or have experience with forecasting & analysis
• A calm, professional presence who can work well with both introverts and extroverts
• Based in Lincoln, NE (with limited flexibility for remote work)
