Traveling Security Technician

They are seeking a Traveling Security Technician responsible for the installation, servicing, testing, and inspection of access control and IP camera products and systems, while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety in the workplace. Responsibilities Service and test various Access Control and IP Camera products and platforms Must be able to read and comprehend engineered drawings Must have a basic understanding of door hardware installation Thoroughly complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets Must be able to travel up to 100% of the time Maintain a safe working environment at all times Communicate all project activity to the UTI project manager or appropriate manager in a timely manner Maintain a safe driving record and report any incidents or near misses to management immediately Skills High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent At least one (1) to five (5) years of security installation experience and network ability Knowledgeable of security equipment systems (i.e., intrusion detection, assessment, and access control) Capable of installing and maintaining various alarms, access control, and assessment system devices Prior troubleshooting experience Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government Security Clearance preferred DCJS Certified or ability to obtain is required Security industry certifications Knowledge of: Software House, Lenel, AMAG, Galaxy, Brivo, Bosch, Southwest Microwave, Genetec, and/or Onssi Benefits Health, dental, and vision coverage Life insurance 401 (k) w/company match 100% up to 3% and an additional 50% match of 2% Paid time off 11 Paid Holidays Company Overview Unlimited Technology is a leading provider of best-in-class, enterprise-level solutions for commercial organizations and the federal government.
