Travel Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Lenoir City, TN
A registered nurse with telemetry experience is needed to provide skilled nursing care in a dynamic hospital environment. Responsibilities:
⢠Deliver comprehensive nursing care for telemetry patients, including continuous cardiac monitoring.
⢠Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
⢠Monitor patient conditions, document changes, and respond to emergencies promptly.
⢠Participate in unit activities, including floating to other med/surg or telemetry units as needed.
⢠Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
⢠Current RN license with telemetry experience.
⢠Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
⢠Successful completion of EKG competency testing prior to assignment start.
⢠Flexibility to work every other weekend or two weekends per month.
⢠Ability to float within the unit as needed, maintaining nursing ratios close to 1:8 with possible team nursing models for higher ratios.
Schedule:
⢠12-hour shifts (5 shifts per week).
