We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at Soar Autism Center. As an OT, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters the growth and development of children with autism. Our center is committed to providing transformative, evidence-based services that cater to the unique needs of each child and family.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement naturalistic occupational therapy for children aged 2-6 years, focusing on autism and developmental disorders
Design and deliver interventions to improve gross motor, fine motor skills, feeding practices, and daily living activities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including ABA, speech therapy, and psychology, to develop comprehensive treatment plans
Mentor and guide Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to integrate OT goals into their therapy
Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate with team members and families
Build strong relationships with families, setting goals, sharing progress, and providing coaching and support
Requirements:
Degree in Occupational Therapy with a focus on pediatrics or a similar field
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
Experience working with children with autism or related developmental disorders
Strong understanding of early intervention and integrated care approaches
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a passion for supporting children with autism
