HYBRID ROLE Cloudflare Architect/DNS Engineer Chicago, IL 12+ Months Contract Position Type-C2C/W2 Exp Level- 10+Years Key Skill DNS, Cloudflare, Route 53, GoDaddy, migration , Architecture, Design, Cloudflare services (CDN, WAF, Zero Trust, DDoS protection, Workers, etc.), APIs, edge computing, Implementation, Optimization, Infrastructure Architect/Cloud Architect, Cloudflare services, CDN technologies, edge computing, Cloudflare Workers, Zero Trust, Access Responsibilities Understanding of DNS environment and domain management in Route 53, GoDaddy, migration of domain/ transfers. Architecture & Design Develop and maintain enterprise-level architectures using Cloudflare services (CDN, WAF, Zero Trust, DDoS protection, Workers, etc.). Design secure and scalable solutions for web applications , APIs, and edge computing. Implementation & Optimization Implement Zero Trust frameworks, IAM policies , and secure access solutions. Partner with IT, DevOps, and Security teams to integrate Cloudflare solutions. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and documentation for best practices . Minimum Qualifications / Skills Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect /Cloud Architect with strong expertise in Cloudflare services . Deep understanding of network security, CDN technologies, DNS, and edge computing . Hands-on experience with Cloudflare Workers, Zero Trust, and Access . Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and integration with Cloudflare. Proficiency in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Terraform).
