Transaction Director - Documentation Review
About the position
As a CBRE Transaction Management Director, you will manage commercial real estate transaction activities, including advising clients and transaction management team members throughout the real estate documentation process.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Collaborate with Transaction Managers, client and client's counsel on drafting and creating a wide variety of commercial real estate documents including, but not limited to: leases, subleases, amendments, assignments, LOI and RFP checklists, lease abstracts and lease checklists, template RFPs, and other support documentation.
ā¢ Review and analyze business terms and conditions for commercial real estate products, including review of landlord/owner drafted leases, amendments and other transaction documents and prepare initial comments for client review and approval.
ā¢ Gather resources to complete complex transactions, including lease renewals, new site acquisitions, and disposition of surplus space through subleasing.
ā¢ Negotiate and redline commercial real estate documents.
ā¢ Comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
ā¢ Juris Doctor's Degree preferred with 3-7 years of relevant experience, including a very strong understanding of and experience in negotiating and redlining commercial real estate documents.
ā¢ In lieu of a J.D., a combination of experience and education will be considered.
ā¢ Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents.
ā¢ Ability to respond effectively to time-sensitive issues.
ā¢ Ability to write reports using distinctive style.
ā¢ Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to clients, executives and/or public groups.
ā¢ Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively and diplomatically with clients, executives, and other parties to take desired action.
ā¢ The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
ā¢ Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
ā¢ Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Benefits
ā¢ Minimum salary of $130,000 annually or $62.50 per hour.
ā¢ Maximum salary of $200,000 annually or $96.16 per hour.
