Tracking & Analytics Specialist (f/m/d) We are looking for a Tracking and Web Analytics Specialist to own and evolve our digital measurement ecosystem. You will be responsible for the technical implementation across GTM and GA4, ensuring seamless data flow between our website, CRM, and online advertising platforms. Your role is to translate business requirements into robust data architectures, ensuring high data quality, privacy compliance, and actionable insights. You will be responsible for: Data layer architecture and implementation Define, implement, and maintain a scalable data layer architecture aligned with marketing and business strategy. Build and maintain custom event tracking using JavaScript to capture complex user interactions. Ensure tracking consistency, accuracy, and enforce best practices across the entire website. Conduct end-to-end QA and troubleshooting of tracking setups (events, parameters, user journeys) to ensure data reliability. GTM (client & server-side) and GA4 management Implement and manage server-side tracking (GTM Server) to optimize data accuracy, site performance, and privacy compliance. Monitor, audit, and continuously improve tracking tags, triggers, and variables. Own and enforce UTM naming conventions and tracking taxonomy to ensure consistent campaign measurement across SEO, social, and paid channels. Integrations and data flows Ensure reliable data synchronization across the website, CRM, and online advertising platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Meta). Support conversion tracking and attribution models, including offline conversions and API-based data flows. Website personalization and cookie governance Manage and adapt cookie logic and consent management, ensuring compliant personalization experiences aligned with global privacy standards. Ensure GDPR compliance, including consent management and data privacy standards. Cross-team alignment and documentation Collaborate with Growth, Data, and CRM teams to support cross-system integrations. Define tracking guidelines and maintain clear comprehensive documentation of all tracking implementations and standards. Your profile: Expert-level proficiency in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Experience with server-side tracking (GTM Server). Hands-on experience with data layer architecture and implementation. JavaScript skills, with basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for debugging and custom tracking. Knowledge of APIs and data integrations between website, CRM, and ad platforms. Solid understanding of attribution models and campaign tracking (UTMs). Familiarity with ad platforms and offline conversion tracking. Experience with Consent Management Platforms (CMP) and privacy-first tracking (Consent Mode). Deep understanding of GDPR and data privacy best practices. Strong attention to detail with a focus on data integrity. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Fluent English (written and spoken). Experience with HubSpot or Salesforce CRMs is a plus.
