About the Role: Customer Service Representative at blithequark As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our brand, playing a critical role in ensuring that our customers have a positive and engaging shopping experience. Your primary focus will be on providing top-notch service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally. Key Responsibilities Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assist them in finding the products they need, and ensure that their shopping experience is nothing short of exceptional. Maintaining Store Appearance: Assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and welcoming store environment that invites customers to explore and shop. Merchandising and Stockroom Management: Help unload merchandise from delivery trucks, organize stock, and transport products from the stockroom to the sales floor. You'll also be responsible for independently stocking shelves and recovering merchandise. Transaction Processing: Accurately handle customer transactions using our POS system, ensuring that all payments are processed correctly and efficiently. Ensuring Customer Safety: Remain vigilant and aware of customer activity at all times to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment. Flexibility and Adaptability: Be prepared to perform a variety of tasks as assigned, adapting to changing priorities and store needs to maintain an effective and profitable store operation. Requirements and Qualifications To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need: Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. You should be able to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as needed. Experience: Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or customer-facing environment is highly valued, although not always necessary. We're committed to training the right candidate. Physical Demands: The role requires the ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height. You'll also need to be able to handle the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Availability: We're looking for individuals who can commit to a flexible, full-time schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
