Tour Sales Advisor

At Frontiers North Adventures, we host guests in the remote community of Churchill, Manitoba, to dine beneath the northern lights, splash alongside beluga whales, and lock eyes with wild polar bears.We are seeking a relationship-driven TOUR SALES ADVISOR to guide inbound inquiries through to confirmed tour bookings. This is a consultative inside sales role focused on connecting Fully Independent Traveller (FIT) guests with the right experiences, while upholding our commitment to exceptional service and sustainable tourism as a Certified B Corporation®.WHAT YOU'LL DOConvert inbound interest into bookingsManage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to confirmed bookingQualify guest needs, including travel goals, mobility considerations, and budgetConduct consistent follow-up through phone and email to support conversionIdentify opportunities to enhance each booking through appropriate add-onsAdvise guests with expertise and careRecommend experiences that align with guest expectations and physical requirementsClearly communicate trip details, inclusions, and the realities of subarctic travelAddress questions and concerns with professionalism and sound judgmentMaintain accuracy and coordinationManage guest and booking information within the CRM system (Peak 15)Interpret availability and capacity to support booking decisionsProvide clear and detailed handovers to fulfillment to ensure a seamless guest experienceCollaborate across the organizationWork closely with internal teams to align sales with operational realitiesStay current on product offerings, pricing, and marketing messagingContribute to a team environment that values respect, inclusion, and shared successWHO YOU AREA relationship-driven communicator who builds trust quickly and enjoys guiding people through important purchase decisionsA persistent and self-motivated individual who stays engaged through longer sales cycles and consistent follow-upA highly organized multitasker who can manage a high volume of inquiries without losing attention to detailA thoughtful and adaptable professional who can assess guest needs, set realistic expectations, and connect with a diverse, international audience.WHAT YOU BRINGPost-secondary education in business, tourism and hospitality, or an acceptable combination of education and experienceCertified Travel Counsellor (CTC) or Certified Travel Manager (CTM), or equivalent industry designation is an asset3+ years’ experience in an inside sales role using consultative techniques to convert inbound leads into confirmed bookings in the tourism industry.Experience in high-volume lead nurturing, including managing consistent outbound follow-up calls and emails to prospective guests to drive conversion.Experience with Peak 15 or other tour operator or CRM software is an asset.Experience providing comprehensive sales handovers to fulfillment or operations teams to ensure a seamless guest transition after the sale is closed.Experience maintaining and expanding guest relationships to drive repeat business, referrals, and long-term brand loyalty.Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an assetA valid passport and the ability to travel internationally is required. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND LOCATIONThis position is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba at Frontiers North’s corporate officeA hybrid remote work arrangement may be available for Winnipeg-based employees in accordance with company policyWhile Winnipeg-based employment is preferred, remote work from elsewhere in Canada may be considered, provided the individual is available to travel to Winnipeg and Churchill several times a yearCOMPENSATIONThe base salary for this role is $54,000 to $66,000 for candidates based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with adjustments for candidates located outside the province based on market conditions.In addition to base salary, this role offers a performance-based incentive program with earning potential of 20% to 23%.
