Title I Tutor (Limited Full-Time) - Supporting Student Success in Idaho Falls
Join our team at Idaho Falls School District 91 and make a difference in the lives of students as a Title I Tutor! We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to provide targeted support to students in reading and math. As a Title I Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential and succeed academically.
About the Role:
Location: Remote (with some in-person requirements)
Schedule: 29 hours per week
Salary: $15.32 - $16.08 per hour (dependent on experience)
Benefits: In accordance with Board policy
Responsibilities:
Administer reading and math tests to identify student achievement levels
Collaborate with classroom teachers and Building Administrators to determine instructional needs
Provide targeted support to small groups and individual students in reading and math
Maintain accurate records and track student progress
Assist with data collection and reporting for state and federal agencies
Participate in in-service classes, building meetings, and district meetings
Requirements:
Minimum of 48 college credits or a minimum score of 460 on the ParaPro Praxis
Knowledge and skills in teaching and using math and reading
Ability to work with staff, students, and the public
Computer knowledge and experience with word processing, email, and spreadsheets
Previous experience preferred, but not required
