Time & Billing Clerk
We are looking for a skilled Time & Billing Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Saint Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate and efficient billing processes while adhering to client-specific requirements. This position is ideal for someone with legal billing expertise and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Enter and manage time entries using the Timeslips software to ensure accurate billing.
• Review and correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors in billing documentation.
• Maintain efficiency and speed while processing billing operations to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with the Billing Manager to support the review and submission of invoices.
• Handle billing tasks for workers’ compensation defense cases, ensuring compliance with client guidelines.
• Assist in generating and managing billing statements and collections as necessary.
• Utilize computerized billing systems to streamline workflows and enhance accuracy.
• Address billing-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ensure all billing procedures align with organizational and client standards.
• Proficiency in Timeslips software and familiarity with its functionalities.
• Prior experience in legal billing, particularly time entry and invoice preparation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all billing tasks.
• Strong command of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and deliver high-quality results.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
