TILA Attorney Needed – Legal Advice & Contingency Representation (Consumer Lending)
Job Description I am seeking a licensed U.S. attorney with experience in Truth in Lending Act (TILA) litigation to review my case, provide legal advice, and potentially represent me on a contingency-fee basis. This posting is specifically for legal advice and representation. Attorneys must be actively licensed and authorized to practice law in a relevant U.S. jurisdiction. Matter Overview Area of law: Truth in Lending Act (TILA) Case type: Consumer finance / lending (details will be provided under NDA) Status: Case facts and documentation are already organized Goal: Retain counsel willing to take the case on contingency Scope of Engagement Review case facts, documents, and potential TILA violations Provide legal analysis and advice Assess viability of claims, damages, and defenses Determine willingness to: Represent the case on a contingency-fee basis, or Proceed with a contingency + costs structure, if applicable If retained, handle litigation, settlement discussions, or related legal action Success / Fee Structure I will pay $100 via Upwork for: A formal case review and Confirmation that you are willing to take the matter forward on contingency If retained, all legal fees will be governed by a separate attorney–client agreement, consistent with state bar rules. Required Qualifications Active U.S. law license (please specify jurisdiction) Experience with: TILA Consumer lending or mortgage litigation Federal statutory claims Ability to accept matters on a contingency basis Willingness to enter into a formal attorney–client relationship if the case proceeds Required Proposal Information Please include: Jurisdiction(s) where you are licensed Years of experience with TILA or consumer finance law Types of TILA cases you have handled (mortgage, credit, auto, etc.) Whether you accept contingency matters Any conflicts that may prevent representation Confidentiality All case details will be shared after initial contact.
