BE seeks a career and customer-oriented Test Manager that is proficient in automation, manual and performance testing to ensure quality and reliability in sustainment of the Marine Corps Recruiting Information Support System-Legacy (MCRISS-L) Project as the system of record. This candidate will collaborate with multi-functional Agile teams in qualitative software testing according to the release schedule, leading to the flawless delivery of quality software products. Location : Remote - McLean, VA To keep breaking barriers and redefining what's possible, we’re looking for candidates with the following exceptional technical capabilities: Work closely with software development team to clarify application functionality, improve test effectiveness, determine root cause, and resolve defects Participate in scrum activities (i.e., daily stand ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives) Program Increment (PI) planning events for effective sprint execution Communicate regularly with project stakeholders and support continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes by validating builds and releases Create, analyze, and execute test cases for automated and manual test runs Perform functional, UI, positive and negative tests, and regression testing to identify software quality issues Manage software bug prioritizing, reporting, and tracking (traceability) Create and maintain comprehensive test plans for sprint, regression, and User Acceptance Test (UAT)/Government Acceptance Test (GAT) Create quality Software Test Reports (STRs) to support contractual requirements Able to occasionally work after hours and/or on-call support Possess effective communication skills, customer service and excellent interpersonal skills Clearance Required: Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance. Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in Computer Science or other IT related field Software development Testing Security Automation Firsthand experience implementing and working with the DevSecOps tools and toolchains.
