Must have:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related fieldKnowledge of different SDLC phases and understanding of Testing phasesExperience in programming language(s) ex. Java, Python, JavaScript etcExperience in database ex: Oracle SQLExperience in modern web applications architecture Microservices, APIs e.g. SOAP, RESTExperience with source control, build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GITExperience with handling Client Interactions
Tools and software:Selenium / Cucumber / TestNG/JMeter/Cypress/ProtractorBitbucket, GITREST tools POSTMAN, SOAPUI, Chrome REST ClientIDE IntelliJ, Eclipse, VS CodeHP ALM / JIRA/ QMetryDevOps toolsDatabase Oracle, SQL Server etc
Nice to have:Knowledge of Automation frameworks ex: TestNG, Robot, Cucumber, or any other standard framework and integration with open-source libraries or tools ex: Selenium.Experience of Functional Testing, Integration Testing, End to End Testing, Regression TestingKnowledge of CI/CD tools ex: Jenkins to integrate the Automation scriptsKnowledge of Automation planning, Status Reporting.Cable/Telecommunication Industry domain knowledge and working experienceManual and Automation Testing
