Teradata Administrator - Remote - W2 only
Job Title: Teradata Admin Location: San Jose, CA Remote Duration: Long-term Rate: $68/hr on C2C Job Description: • Strong experience with Teradata data platform • At least 3 years of experience in Teradata administration • Design and implement high performing and highly available Teradata data warehouse solutions • Optimize data pipelines and workloads for maximum efficiency and performance • Responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the Teradata data warehouse platform • Ensure data security and compliance with company policies and industry regulations • Responsible for Standing up Provision Teradata Accounts • Establish naming standards for Teradata objects • Define Setup Role hierarchy Producer Consumer Warehouses for various workloads and Databases schemas as well as User Group Provisioning • Ensuring high levels of data availability performance and security as well as for optimizing the platform for complex data pipelines and workloads • Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise with the Teradata platform • Responsible for staying UpToDate with the latest features and best practices in Teradata administration and for providing guidance and training to other team members as needed • Teradata Support • At least 3 years of experience with Teradata Snowflake data platforms • Identify the issues troubleshoot them and resume the failed job • Experience in query languages like SQL • Data extraction transformation wrangling expertise would be highly Skills Mandatory Skills : Teradata-SQL, Teradata, Dimensional Data Modeling, Teradata Utilities Apply tot his job
