Our 5-week courses average 10 hours a week per class, which includes class and online time with the students. Class times are 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., 2 times a week - Monday through Thursday classes only. Charter College, LLC., seeks enthusiastic instructors driven by the success of student achievements. JOB DUTIES: • Prepare for each course to be taught a syllabus consistent with course descriptions • Impress upon our students the importance of exhibiting appropriate conduct in the work place • Acquire feedback to determine whether students understand each segment of the course • Maintain academic standards • Evaluate students' progress often and share those evaluations with them promptly • Be available to students with concerns • Review and be guided by student evaluations of instruction • Play an intricate role in student retention efforts • Serve on faculty committees • Attend and participate in official college functions • Keep on file official transcripts of your formal studies • Enroll in such courses of study and participate in such programs of professional growth Requirements: • Current Certification in Dental Assisting AND • Registered Dental Assistant • Two (2) years of experience in the field • Excellent customer service skills • Experience in a blended teaching environment preferred but not required COMPENSATION: • Part Time • Hourly - Non-Exempt • $25.00 per hour • We are seeking instructors that can accommodate the day shift • 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Monday and Wednesday) and 9:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. (Tuesday and Thursday) Benefits: • 401(k) • Employee assistance program • Employee discount • Flexible schedule • Professional development assistance • Referral program Schedule: • 4-hour shift • Day shift Experience: Dental assisting: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (Required) Ability to Relocate: Oxnard, CA 91351: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person We are committed to diversity.
