Tenant Recoveries Analyst

SITE Centers is an owner and manager of retail real estate with a portfolio of open-air shopping centers across the United States. They are seeking a Tenant Recoveries Analyst to reconcile year-end common area maintenance, insurance, real estate taxes, and related accounts while preparing tenant billings and ensuring accuracy in tenant accounts.ResponsibilitiesPerform year-end reconciliations and billings to tenants for all recoveries including CAM, insurance, real estate taxes and direct utilities outside of CAM (e.g. water/sewer, trash, HVAC)Prepare quarterly billings for CAM ensuring appropriate documentation and explanation of charges is provided in accordance with lease agreementsComplete annual roll forwards of CAP’s, fixed and other items in accounting softwareCalculate and prepare yearly recovery budgets, by property, for property accounting and leasingCalculate and bill tenants for monthly estimates of charges based on budgeted expensesSkillsPrior experience reading and understanding landlord leases and tenant billingsBasic accounting knowledgeWorking experience maintaining complex Excel schedulesAbility to perform year-end reconciliations and billings to tenants for all recoveries including CAM, insurance, real estate taxes and direct utilities outside of CAMAbility to prepare quarterly billings for CAM ensuring appropriate documentation and explanation of charges is provided in accordance with lease agreementsAbility to complete annual roll forwards of CAP's, fixed and other items in accounting softwareAbility to calculate and prepare yearly recovery budgets, by property, for property accounting and leasingAbility to calculate and bill tenants for monthly estimates of charges based on budgeted expensesCompany OverviewSITE Centers is an owner and operator of retail real estate whose portfolio consists of open-air properties in the most convenient locations of the wealthiest suburbs in the U.S. It was founded in 1965, and is headquartered in Beachwood, Ohio, US, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
