Temporary Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst will oversee financial processes, provide financial support to teams, and ensure compliance with Oxfam policies and donor obligations. The role will involve managing restricted funds, developing and reviewing budgets, and providing training and coaching to team members. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with directors and business managers to prepare annual budgets, track and report variances, and develop actions to correct variances and address root causes.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent education and experience.Five to seven years progressively responsible experience in financial analysis and/or management.Excellent data analysis skills and ability to deal with high volume and complex data, and range of donor budget/reporting formats.Excellent budget analysis and monitoring skills, able to develop budgets to meet new donor requirements; ability to draft budgets and prepare financial narratives for donor proposals.Extensive experience with foundation, non-US government and other donor financial compliance and contract requirementsExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through to prioritize heavy workload.Outstanding communication skills and experience working in a highly matrixed organization.Facility with coaching and providing advisory services using financial data to more staff.Strong interpersonal awareness including diplomacy, tact, being able to get on well with others and respect for confidentiality.Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.BenefitsCompetitive salary range of $85,000 - $92,000Opportunity to work for a global organization that fights inequality to end poverty and injusticeRemote work optionsEmployee relocation sponsoredZero tolerance policy for any sexual harassment, exploitation, and/or abuseEqual opportunity employerOriginally posted on Himalayas
