We're looking for a talented Data Scientist to join our team and help us drive business growth and customer satisfaction. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team and help us drive business growth and customer satisfaction through the use of AI and factual displaying. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for supporting the streaming business with AI and factual displaying focused on understanding and predicting customer behavior, such as churn, upgrade/downgrade, cost responsiveness, customer segmentation, survival analysis, trial plan and analysis, and causal inference. You will also create and implement innovative AI strategies to address key business questions while identifying new areas to explore. **Key Responsibilities** * Support the streaming business with AI and factual displaying focused on understanding and predicting customer behavior, such as churn, upgrade/downgrade, cost responsiveness, customer segmentation, survival analysis, trial plan and analysis, and causal inference. * Create and implement innovative AI strategies to address key business questions while identifying new areas to explore. * Drive experimentation to assess the effects of your models. * Collaborate intimately with colleagues across the organization to identify and open new opportunities. * Present your proposals to senior leaders. * Work with different data groups to improve platform capabilities around data modeling, data representation, experimentation, and data design. **Essential Capabilities** * Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Physics, Econometrics, or Statistics. * 3+ years of experience designing, building, and evaluating practical AI solutions. * Strong coding experience in (at least one) data programming languages like Python/R, with additional experience in scientific libraries like Numpy, Pandas, or similar libraries. * Proficient in analyzing data and creating ML models using Python (with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, scikit-learn, etc.). * Strong foundation in factual displaying: regression, clustering, time series estimation, causal inference, and other methods. * Experience creating flexible numerical models and solving complex quantitative problems that can be understood by non-numerical colleagues. * Ability to make insights and decisions from data to inform model development and business decisions. * Willingness to collaborate with other data researchers, data analysts, and key colleagues. * Good understanding of SQL. **Preferred Capabilities** * Postgraduate education in a quantitative field. * Excellent analytical skills, high-level degree of statistical knowledge. * Demonstrated ability in choosing the right statistical tools given a data analysis problem. * Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with changing needs. * Strong relational skills, for both technical and non-technical audiences. * Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. * Experience with data platforms and applications like Databricks, Jupyter, Snowflake, Wind current, Github. * Experience with designing and analyzing A/B testing and other experiment types. * Experience thinking decisively to interpret market and customer data, ideally about a subscription service. * Experience with distributed data technologies (Hive, Flash). * Experience with NLP and NN models. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
