Job Overview We are offering a remote opportunity for candidates in WA, ID, OR, and UT to work as a Temporary Customer Service Professional I - Medicare. This is a temporary, non-benefited position that offers a competitive hourly wage of $19.75 - $23.00, depending on experience and location. As a customer service professional at blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing guidance and support to our members, providers, and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming calls on recorded lines, providing accurate and compliant information on benefits, claims, and eligibility Act as a bridge between blithequark and our members, providers, and other healthcare professionals, advocating for our members and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Conduct research to find answers to complex questions and provide guidance on benefits, claims, and eligibility Bring a positive and professional approach to every interaction, tailoring communications to meet the unique needs of each caller Prioritize caller satisfaction while representing blithequark's mission and values Collaborate with colleagues to improve skills and knowledge, seeking opportunities for growth and development Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 6 months of customer service call center experience; or 6 months of customer service experience in insurance, retail, banking, hospital, medical office, or similar industry with extensive customer contact; or equivalent combination of education and experience Proficient PC skills and ability to navigate multiple applications while on calls Ability to apply mathematical concepts and calculations Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of medical terminology and coding Experience working in a healthcare or insurance environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Skills and Competencies Excellent multitasking skills under pressure Resilience, patience, and a positive attitude in the face of challenges Clear, concise, and empathetic demeanor while responding to inquiries and requests Proactive problem-solving skills and a knack for asking insightful questions to clarify callers' needs Sound decision-making and flexibility in a fast-paced environment Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Career Growth Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
