Temporary Assessor Reviewer I
The Assessor Reviewer I is responsible for face-to-face and virtual assessments of vulnerable populations for various clients. Persons being assessed reside in the community or in facilities. Willing to hire entry-level candidates with college degree. This position is temporary with an anticipated end date in March 2026 and candidate must be located anywhere in the state of Iowa. What you will do: • Perform face-to-face and/or virtual assessments of persons with disabilities. • Some contracts may require collaborating with healthcare providers and ancillary service providers to create or validate the appropriate treatment plan. • Documents assessment results for the individual member status or negotiates service plan as needed. • Provides ongoing education. • May communicate with all health care providers to ensure appropriateness of care. What you need: • Four-year degree in the social services field ( Social Work, Psychology), or related field with 0-1 year experience. • Or four years of experience in working with persons with intellectual, developmental, and/or physical disabilities. • Case management experience preferred. • Must be able to work from home and travel to cover a specific geographic area. As business needs and assessment volumes vary, additional travel outside of the primary geographic area may be required. • Experience completing level-of-care assessments preferred. • Experience in human services preferred • Experience working with individuals who have disabilities is strongly desired.
