Telemetry Registered Nurse - Webster, New York
A registered nurse with a strong background in acute medical-surgical or telemetry nursing is needed for a contract position in Webster, NY. This role involves working day shifts with a focus on providing excellent care in a 37-bed med/tele complex care setting. Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality nursing care to acute med/surg and telemetry patients • Work 12-hour day shifts, typically from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. • Provide coverage for 36 to 48 hours per week, including at least one weekend shift weekly, or two every other weekend • Float to different units as needed to support patient care demands • Participate in charge nurse responsibilities; training provided if necessary • Use EPIC system for charting and documentation • Maintain flexibility with scheduling, including at least one holiday during the contract Qualifications: • Active New York RN license • One year of recent acute med/surg or telemetry nursing experience required; two years preferred • For candidates educated outside the U.S., two years of U.S. work experience required • Current NIH, AHA, and BLS certifications Contract Details: • Duration: 13 weeks • Location: 50+ miles from residential area required • Flexible scheduling options available with potential for block booking This opportunity provides the chance to work in a dynamic hospital environment with a supportive team focused on patient-centered care.
