Job Summary We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing our data pipelines, ensuring that all client event data is consistently integrated into our data warehouse. You'll work closely with various teams, including Foundation, Information Science, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Research, to understand their data needs and provide solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and Development: Configuration, build, and manage our data pipelines, ensuring all client event data is consistently integrated into our data warehouse. Data Set Creation: Create authoritative datasets to track key product metrics, including client growth, engagement, and revenue. Collaboration: Work cooperatively with different teams, including Foundation, Information Science, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Research to understand their data needs and provide solutions. Implementation: Implement robust and issue-tolerant systems for data ingestion and processing. Data Engineering: Participate in data design and engineering decisions, bringing your expertise and data to bear. Data Security and Compliance: Ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of data according to industry and company standards. Requirements and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used within Data Engineering, such as Python, Scala, or Java. Distributed Processing: Experience with distributed processing technologies and frameworks, like Hadoop, Flink, and distributed storage systems (e.g., HDFS, S3). ETL Schedulers: Aptitude with any of ETL schedulers like Wind current, Dagster, Regent, or similar systems. Flash: Strong understanding of Flash and the ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimize Flash code. Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with ChatGPT: Familiarity with ChatGPT or similar AI models. Data Warehousing: Experience with data warehousing solutions, such as Amazon Redshift or Google BigQuery. Cloud Computing: Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
