Job Overview

We are looking for dedicated and empathetic Registered Nurses to join our pioneering eICU team in a remote capacity. In this vital position, you will deliver exceptional virtual care to critically ill patients across a diverse network of hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote surveillance and support for critically ill patients.
  • Collaborate effectively with bedside nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • React promptly to patient changes and assist with the management of acute medical conditions.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the establishment of best practices in eICU care.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for bedside nurses caring for critically ill patients.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication abilities, critical thinking, and adept problem-solving skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with bedside nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
  • Proficient in responding to patient changes and managing acute illnesses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in critical care nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin or a compact state.
  • Valid CPR/BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
