About the Role:

As a Veterinary Tele-Advice Specialist in the Membership Support Team, you will play a crucial role in building and managing our communication with membership clients and quality of life assessments.

You will provide tele-advice and tele-triage services to our clients, ensuring they receive the guidance and support they need to make informed decisions about their pets' health. Your expertise will be invaluable in delivering top-notch veterinary care remotely.
• Candidate must be located in Central Time Zone (CST) **

Responsibilities:
• Tele-Advice and Tele-Triage: Provide expert tele-advice and tele-triage services to pet owners, addressing their concerns and helping them make informed decisions about their pets' health.
• Client Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with membership clients, serving as a trusted resource for their veterinary needs.
• Case Documentation: Accurately document client interactions, medical histories, and recommendations in our electronic health record system.
• Education and Support: Educate clients on preventive care, wellness strategies, and treatment options, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of their pets' healthcare.
• End-of-Life: Quality of life assessments, end-of-life medical record reviews, disposition planning, aftercare arrangements, and providing grief support.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with our team of veterinarians to ensure seamless and coordinated care for clients.
• Client Engagement: Engage in proactive outreach to follow up on client cases, monitor progress, and address any concerns or questions.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and telehealth to enhance your expertise and service delivery.
• Process improvement and enhancement: Maintain medical SOPs regarding quality of life and end of life standards.

Qualifications:
• Licensed Veterinary Technician: Must hold a valid license as a Veterinary Technician.
• Tele-Advice Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience providing tele-advice and tele-triage services in a veterinary setting. Must be familiar with tele health regulations.
• Team Building Experience: Proven track record of effectively building and leading high-performing teams to achieve organizational objectives and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence
• Strong Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Empathy: Demonstrated ability to empathize with clients and provide emotional support during challenging situations.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using telemedicine platforms, electronic health records, and other digital tools.
• Team Player: Collaborative attitude and willingness to work closely with a team of veterinarians and support staff.
• Customer-Centric: Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Flexible: Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit, capable of achieving goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
