What You Will Do: Sales Engineers are responsible for providing solution-based demonstrations to support the sales team and Trimble 's AEC. Common duties for this position include inspirational technical presentations, both virtually and in person, and follow-up support during the sales process. The sales engineer helps ensure that Tekla PowerFab and Trimble Products are represented accurately and that individual client questions or concerns are effectively addressed. What You Will Do Supports the Trimble AECO sales team by assisting with sales presentations and demonstrations. Consult with prospects to discover and present solutions to critical business issues. Responsible for complex client-specific cross-application workflow presentations. Assist with various demonstration-deployment strategies across the Trimble Construction One solutions. Provides construction industry expertise to address client issues and facilitate the sale. Work directly with customer support and product development teams to help document and address process gaps, product issues, or workflow requirements. Produce and curate sales-related resources such as technical articles, presentations, or video content. Maintain an adequate knowledge base for Trimble Construction One workflow solutions. What Skills & Experience You Should Bring: Minimum of 3 years of experience using Tekla PowerFab/EPM Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in structural steel fabrication or the construction industry. Intermediate knowledge of construction means and methods for either structural steel or structural concrete construction. A degree in construction management, structural engineering, civil engineering, or equivalent work experience is desired. Understanding steel industry workflows, project participants, supply chain, fabrication & site erection processes Understanding of principles in estimating structural steel fabrication projects A working knowledge of Trimble Connect and its feature set Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and collaboration skills Familiarity with BIM platforms such as Trimble Connect, SDS2, Revit, BIM 360, or Navisworks is a plus Familiarity with using Tekla Structures and steel detailing experience is a plus The successful candidate must also: Have permission to work in the USA Ability to travel domestically up to 30% Hold a valid driving license and vehicle rental access About Trimble : Trimble is a technology company transforming the way the world works by delivering solutions that connect the physical and digital worlds.
