Business Operations is the connective tissue of arenaflex Technology, with an unwavering focus on bringing together all aspects of our business. Every team—engineering, product, design, operations, support, and more—collaborates seamlessly to drive the organization forward through strategic oversight, effective prioritization, and decisive guidance. This team synthesizes information from across the entire business to ensure that leadership is equipped with all the critical insights needed to make informed strategic and financial decisions.

We are currently seeking a driven and analytical Technology Data Analyst I to join our Technology Planning and Analysis team within Business Operations. In this pivotal role, you will work alongside partners to develop scalable assessment strategies that will be used to analyze portfolios of work being added to our technology roadmap. This includes investigations related to cost modeling, sequencing and dependency planning, prioritization, and taxonomy buildout.

What You Will Do

As a Technology Data Analyst I at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our technology infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities will include:


Data Integration and Modeling: Organize multiple sources of data to build multivariate frameworks that support analysis and drive decisions for the organization at-large
Dashboard Development: Create and deploy tools and dashboards for end users that power data-driven decision-making across all departments
Automation and Scaling: Build strategic decision-making frameworks and write scripts that help us automate processes and scale operations efficiently
Goal Setting and Measurement: Work with partners to establish and identify objectives; define measurable targets, key results, and meaningful metrics for the business; then ensure we track and report on them consistently
Technology Roadmap Stewardship: Be a diligent steward of our technology roadmap—communicating status and plans to partners as appropriate
Achievement of Organizational Goals: Drive organizational objectives forward, navigating challenges effectively, handling multiple priorities, and ensuring alignment with partner objectives


Required Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:


Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Data Analysis, Management Consulting (specifically in a quantitative or data-heavy role), Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Technical Proficiency: Experience working with data and data manipulation software such as R, SQL, and Python
Visualization Tools: Experience building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar business intelligence platforms
Database Skills: Strong ability to write database queries and scripts efficiently
Technology Understanding: Demonstrated understanding of various types of existing and emerging technologies and their ecosystems
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with engineering and operational teams to develop and launch products, with the ability to translate requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences
Self-Motivation: Be a self-starter with strong strategic thinking capabilities, consistent intuition and communication skills, and excellent judgment
Customer Focus: A passion for making end-users happy, with strong opinions about great user experience
Problem-Solving Mindset: Be creative and clever, unafraid of diving into details, with a drive to be the first to tackle any challenge


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following would be advantageous:


Experience in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sectors, particularly in product management or consulting
Understanding of the online video ecosystem, advertising, and/or media technology landscape
Previous internship or work experience in a fast-paced technology environment
Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management frameworks

Compensation and Benefits

We recognize that our people are our greatest asset, and we are committed to providing competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits. The hiring range for this position in California is $77,300 to $103,600 annually, based on a 40-hour work week. The base salary offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on the applicant's geographic location, work-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.

In addition to competitive base pay, eligible employees may receive bonus and/or long-term incentive units as part of the compensation package. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
